Why bother if A) FreeDOOM is right over here, or B) you may already have DOOM II lying around (and if you don't, it's worth the $15 to get the thing along with The Ultimate DOOM and Final DOOM)...

You could also make your own iwad like I did. I assume your post means that you DIDN'T get it working, LittleJust, as you completely ignored it.

Maybe you should re-install WadAuthor; at this rate the thing'll expire before you get it working right.

The easiest way is to find an old srb2.srb from 2003 or before and change it's filetype from pwad to iwad. Hex edit it, use notepad, whatever. I dunno if it works on the new versions, though, since they're lacking the large amounts of empty graphics.

Umm... There's a dialog box when you start WadAuthor that asks for an Iwad which I do not have... Uh... Does that help you?

He IS aware the IWAD is just DOOM2.wad, right?...

And that he can just download FreeDOOM like we told him to?

Has he even TRIED any of this? I think so, but I want confirmation.
