When I launch srb2win.exe I get:
signal_handler() : segment violation

can someone help me fix this?

Did it work before? By the way, try redownloading the files or even just reunpacking the files. Sometimes writes to hard disk fail and data is written wrongly :P

Actually I haven't gotten this successfully running yet. And I tried re-unpacking the files several times allready.

This is pretty much SRB2's way of saying "lolwut". I can't realy help you here.

try using -noasm with srb2win

By the way, taking into account your computer specs, SRB2 should work. If nothing works, try redownloading it. It's the only thing I can think of right now.

You go to notepad, and write srb2win.exe -noasm . Then, turn it to save as all files(NOT .txt) and save it in your SRB2 folder as <insertnamehere>.BAT . Then, double click the new icon that appears.
