Editing existing addons; need help!

Whenever I edit ANYthing in the wad, ingame, the character goes beserk flashing various sprites.

Well, make sure that the lowercase lumps are still lowercase when you save the WAD after editing.

Tell us exactly what you're doing. Which wad editors are you using? What are you changing? Are frames appearing out of order, or are they the wrong colors too? Does the game ever crash when playing with your file? If so, when?

I'm trying to edit values (runspeed = 35) of the addon using SLumpED. However, it only crashed when it had a socced ability...
