Charged up & ready for action!...maybe not...
As the first post of 2025, I honestly expected some people talking about this technicallity. To my suprise, no one did. Well, there is someone now!
Let's just make something clear - Ring Racers does not have an Android port and probably never will (with the same reasons as SRB2Kart, with the addition of giant file size).
It is, however, possible to emulate the game via Winlator.
The only prerequirisites you need are:
- Winlator installed
- a phone with Android 12 installed or above
If you already installed the emulator, the process of getting Ring Racers to work is as simple as:
1. Downloading the game from the KartKrew website
2. Putting the set-up EXE you downloaded into the reposititory of your choice
3. (In Winlator) Creating a container, which you will need to adjust to suit your phone device (prefferably with latest NVIDIA or Intel GPU, Windows version being Windows 11 & the Box64 Preset to be set as "Performance"), and opening it up.
4. Locating that reposititory and opening the EXE to set-up the game (if it asks you to download something called "Gecko", install that too)
5. Waiting for the download process to finish
Once all five steps are done, you can safely delete the set-up EXE, start up the actual EXE you got and Bingo; you got the game on your phone!

The only thing you need to know after this is that the performance might be the same as on a Nintendo Switch (if sometimes even worse), so that's why it's reccomended for Android 12+ devices.
If you want to try out my touch control layout, you can download it with the ZIP attachment I made. You can import it by going to the "Import Controls" menu in the emulator, select "Import Profile", extract the ZIP to wherever you want and locating the file you extracted to import it in.
You can also edit the controls to suit your tastes! All of the nessecary ones are already available, including the "Dialogue" button to continue dialogues between Tails and Eggman.
P.S: You can also use this layout for SRB2Kart in case you don't wish to make one more layout.
The rest of this thread can be reserved as kind of a discussion channel and/or a place for performance tests. Hopefully this helps anyone with trying to play this game without a PC!
