DOWNLOAD folder not showing

Hello. I downloaded SRB2 and downloaded a mod to play it but, I couldn't find the DOWNLOAD folder for some reason. I reinstalled the game and checked all of my folders to check if its there or not, and I didn't see it. I also did the folder view hidden items thing, it still didn't show. Anybody know why?

are you talking about mods from other people? that happens anytime you join a server.
 
For mods you download yourself off of the Message Board, I recommend putting them inside of a folder called "addons".

Everyone needs to realize that if a folder isn't there, they can just create it themselves with no consequences as well.
I see way too many questions like this for my well-being.
 
And which server is that?

I really don't think it will work in SRB2 because someone tried it and it didn't work

It works.
Maybe your source didn't do it right.

You also don't need the DOWNLOADS or even the addons folder to load mods. You can just put mods in SRB2's root directory and the addon menu lets you load them. You're making this more complex than it needs to be.

Alright man I will try em tomorrow because I’ve been trying to download the Sonic X mode that my friend has been begging me to play I got a bit confused because I only had 3 folders models, addons, logs. I tried seeing video’s and they have the DOWNLOAD folder which got me pretty confused because I don’t have it

The DOWNLOAD folder is a folder the game automatically generates when you connect to a server from the in-game server browser. It is simply cosmetic, it does not matter where your addons go, so long as they are within your SRB2 folder.
