Disco Room

When playing netgames at ERZ2 (cause I haven't tried on single player), at the zoom tube just before the place to get to the disco room, I am teleported past it, and sent to the end of the level. This only happens in the last two versions, as far as I know.

My question is, is there a way to still get to the disco room?

That teleporter is there in netgames to skip the laser miniboss, which doesn't work in netgames. In single player, you can go to the disco room like normal. As far as I know, you can also skip the teleporter, but I didn't manage to do that yet.

In order to get past the teleporter you need to go slow and go around the teleporting sector. This will cause you to go through the zoom tube and to the lazer mini boss. I have done this in netgames and it works. Pick knuckles or tails for a better rate of success but it can also be done with sonic.
