name "SomethingOtherThanSim"

You have to change that name to change your default srb2 name.
The username Windows displays and your real username aren't necessarily the same thing. Whether or not your username is in fact Sim, though, the autoexec.cfg solution above should work.InuYasha said:But my username on Windows Xp Professional isnt Sim.

Yes, you can have whatever you want there. I tested and figured out that you can also do color, but I would like to know how to set default character.

Ok, open up notepad. Type up the autoexec.cfg. Then on the save as thing, select all files and type "autoexec.cfg" exactly like that. (Only without the quotes). It should save as autoexec.cfg.InuYasha said:Thanks guys. :D but, I tried to save it as auto whatever but its not on the save as choices list.
