SJR

My name is Sonic Jr
Hello everyone! I'm new on here (not in SRB2) and I'll show you guys, my first project, wich is still in the working. It's about some evil plan from the Doctor Eggman, wich is intended to destroy the planet while Sonic is walking around, he is destroying everything on his path and is making his own hidden factory underground, Sonic doesn't know what is happening, but then he saw some evil robots and destroyed them and ended up on a trap where he must fight against Eggman.

Thanks to Zuko for helping me and for fixing some found bugs.

Adventure Field Act 1 is a Green Hill remix by Zuko
Adventure Field Act 2 is a Green Hill-SRB2 remix by me

Pardon me about some bugs of the wad, such as the lack of thok barriers, etc.

Good as a first map-pack! Act 1 was short but still quite fun to play. I liked the road you made there. It could maybe be bit lower...

Act 2 was VERY fun. I enjoyed jumping around and speedrunning as Sonic (0.34.xx) But it has still some problems... You haven´t made a sector for outer wall, so player can go through the wall.
Hills were beautiful but please, make them ramp sectors. An you forgot water next to the finish. Still very fun to play.

Act 3. You´ve used your mapping skills great! I liked playing that. Only problem was the wall. (Player can walk through the wall) Your act 3 was better than any of my boss acts.

Well, when I made the map, the last thing I was making was the thok barrier, when suddenly the program closes for no good reason then, I lost the progress and forgot to do it again, but I said to him if he want, he could do it, but he was unable... the reason why I make the thok barrier as the latest thing (although into the SRB2-Wiki, it teaches like the first thing you could create), is because of, if I want to edit the level, I can do it without having issues.

You can just make the thok barrier a gigantic square around the level and adjust it later. That should give you more than enough space to edit the level.

Plus if you run out of room, you can also change the line lengths of the thok barrier. Make it a rough outline of what you want your level to be.

Also, Happy Birthday SpiritCrusher. :D

Hah, I dunno, even when the thok barrier IS a giant square, I feel strangely... limited by it. Like, I know I can adjust it and make it bigger, but it's like it just creates some psychological barrier where I feel like I can't build in a certain direction anymore. It'd be nice if the thok barrier wasn't needed. I mapped in doom for a little, and while I wasn't any good at it, the lack of thok barrier was a huge breath of fresh air.

But yeah, always make the thok barrier first.

I never thought of that but since now I'll do it, thank you.

If I understood you right, do you mean grab the line and drag it? If so, I do it almost every time. (I use SRB2-DB2)
