Dark Blue Color

This question has been on my mind for a very long time, Remember the Dark Blue color from 1.09.4? Why was it removed and is it gonna return in 2.2 or somewhere in the future?

No dark blue in there.

...I have no idea why exactly it was removed though.

It wasn't redundant. It was removed for the same reason Black was removed in 2.0 - an attempt at multiplayer balance. That experiment failed, so Black was placed back in for 2.1 - but whoever was handling skincolours didn't remember to put Dark Blue back in.

With 2.2's palette, I started with the 2.1 colours. I didn't really remember or care about Dark Blue then, and I actually cut pretty heavily from the dark end of blue to add room for more ranges elsewhere so I'm not exactly hot on putting it back in for this feature request (which should probably be in the Suggestions topic, jsyk).

Ah ok, I just hope it makes a return in the future. Most SRB2 players (including me) want it brought back. I might put the Dark Blue suggestion later in Suggestions.

You could try having Dark Blue being palette indexes 155-159 and 253, with 155 and 253 being repeated twice and 156-159 being repeated thrice each. That should give 16, which I think is how many indexes are used in a colour. Again, you could try, not just throw it in. I'm not sure how well it'll look.

The colors set is very small currently , would be better if it's possible to Set the color manually (It pleases everyone) :

Alright, I left the door open by being imprecise about it. Let me be clear.

I'm NOT putting in Dark Blue because I don't think it's worth it right now. This doesn't preclude someone else doing it, but all the dark blue shades blend together and I'm not confident it would look good. That does not stop somebody else on the devteam from doing it, but right now I'm driving, and if you kids don't stop fighting I'll turn this car around and you'll have to use the original Doom palette forever.

Also, Romio I am too exhausted to give you a step by step analysis of why that will never happen, but that will never happen. Never. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
