You can't keep a good pack down, especially not when players like us love it! This is a relatively simple port that just adds v2.4's new checkpoints so that the race maps play even better in the new Dual Mode and gives you your EXP payouts more often.

Be aware that any records from the original version will apply to this version and vice versa, so if you have any record replay files that...

Porters notes:
    Current things that could be done to contribute to the port:
        • Change the 3 Color Drive's custom tripwire graphic to parady with new tripwire effects in v2.4.
        • Fix 3 Color Drive's tripwire jump to work more as expected. Sometimes the jump will fling you forward into the island block if ridden at higher than sneaker speed.
        • Giving some thoughts on reducing the amount of checkpoints in 3CD, NGHZ, and MMMM from 2 to 1 due to somewhat shorter track length and fit.
        
No attribution will been given to porters notes.
They serve to document any ideas and notes for maintaining a port outside of specific communities maintainable across multiple ports.

When I was initially making this port, I thought changing the lap counts to better accommodate the checkpoint system would be crossing the port line. Now I think it would be best to ask for thoughts on that possibility. It would mess up time trials again in consequence, but it would give more time between checkpoints to better parody checkpoint design changes.

When crossing the finish line for a new lap at Neo Green Hill, sometimes the waypoints will bug out and the player is scored as ahead for a brief moment. (May also result in earning extra EXP.)

I wish I could have known sooner, but I either missed a notif or discussion pages aren't watched by the creator automatically. I suggest also sending DMs about issues you find to guarantee attention on these posts.
