Custom audio and Stereo Mode - How to add custom songs in the Stereo Mode, or replace the soundtrack

Need some bangers to play on loop while you're racing?
Think the soundtrack isn't good enough?
In that case you've come to the right place, this guide will teach you exactly how to include custom songs in the Stereo Mode, as well as how to replace the existing soundtrack with any song you want.

What U Need

SLADE (Any Doom editor will suffice, but i will give instructions on how to to it with SLADE, as it is the one i am most...

I hopped online to finish up my guide and I saw this . For real though, This is pretty good and had some info I didn't know (Game cuts off the first milliseconds of a song??)
As for my problems, If custom music is shared or used in a map/character wad the quality should be lower to prevent size bloating (maybe a little tip in the guide?). I'm a little bit iffy on modifying the base game's files but that could just be me, this guide was made for personal use music anyway.
Also I should probably update my audacity so I can use that amazing "Seconds + Milliseconds" option.

True, that's something i haven't mentioned, but it is a bit of an issue, as the original audio entries rarely go above 3 Mb each, and using my method i consistently end up with stuff around or over 10 Mb.
Though i'm not really sure on how to adress that, mostly since i never tried or even thought to compromise the audio quality for smaller file size.
I should probably do some digging for how to do that and update the guide, but thanks for your input!

Edit : Nevermind it was as simple as lowering the "Quality" slider during the export LOL

Are you sure the game cuts off the first few milliseconds of a song? I have never noticed this, so it may be an issue with your audio hardware. Can you provide a recording that demonstrates this? Also, is there any reason you recommend editing music.pk3 directly over creating a new file with the music replacements in it and configuring it to load automatically?

The "Important" field is to determine whether or not the song credits show up every time the song starts to play. This is used for songs that play in the context of music changes in maps using ACS, for instance.

Quick question about the metadata section, when filling in the last box that is to the "tag" row, do I have to include the value with "samples/seconds or without? because I think that's the main reason why the song I imported isn't looping properly.
