Crosshair

i got a idea. you know when you are in 3rd person mode, i'd like to have a Crosshair aim in 3rd person instead of 1st person.

As for the idea, that would be great/fun! I think it would work via a modified wall splat.

No, it'd work like in Giants: Citizen Kabuto. It's an entirely different aiming algorithm, but would be an interesting thing to try/implement.

A 3rd person crosshair would be godly, since I almost always use 3rd person and can't stand 1st. I only use it for sniping, and it makes it impossible to dodge anything.

Which is actually kind of funny, since srb2's match mode is the old Doom Deathmatch with a few changes, such as the rings. It's meant to play 1st person.
