Create text entering sector

I'm probably just being dumb, but I've failed to find up to date info on this, so help would be greatly appreciated.

What do you mean by "text entering sector"? You need to be more clear on what you're trying to do and what the issue is.

You need to have some knowledge of SOC as well as some more advanced mapping knowledge to get this to work. To make the text appear, you'll need a text prompt: https://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/Text_prompt

The text prompt is activated by a linedef with Linedef type 459: https://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/Linedef_type_459

And to activate that linedef, you'll need to run a linedef executor: https://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/Linedef_executor_tutorial

Please note that using a text prompt will not work in multiplayer, as the text will simply not appear. Please ask if you need more clarification.
