Controls not working in multiplayer

So there's a problem I've been having recently with the controls in multiplayer where my movement controls won't work at all for some reason everything else is fine it's just that's the problem. Is there anyway I can fix this issue?

Are you saying your inputs are delayed or they simply never register?

What mean is that the inputs never register prolly should of mentioned in the thread is that single player is just fine its just in multi-player that this happens

Okay, and this happens in any server regardless of mods?

Yes regardless if it's modded or not it happens either way for some reason

ok i think i figured it out its beacuse of me adding mods whenever i am in/make my sever that the game seems to glitch out and i cant move at all but when i exit the game and restart my laptop it works to an extent
nvm mods are the problem lol but i think i just have to move the files around
