Control mode detection

Hey, does someone know how to detect which control mode [Simple/Standard/Strafe] you're using? It's for vanilla SRB2 by the way.

It depends. If the Player is moving where the camera leads to and only turns back when you go, it means thaflt youre in standard Mode. If the character moves like in the standard mode but without facing other directions except front and sideways, it means you are in strafe mode and if you, whenever you face one direction and the player remains on that direction (or if he uses his ability where hes facing instead of the camera), it means that youre in simple mode (that i would recommend if youre planning on playing on mobile or with a controller). Those options can be acessed by going to options > setup controls > 1 player settings and camera mode (i guess, correct me if im wrong). If you meant another problem, im sorry.

You can detect Simple & Lmaogalog (yes this is how it's named) by checking for

player.pflags & PF_ANALOGMODE

Standard mode should instead have PF_DIRECTIONCHAR applied.
