This is sorta on-topic, but the main question isn't.

I've been stuck off my main computer today, so I ran through Mystic Realm 4 on my Pentium II 266 to check for framerate, and there are a few rather major issues that I'm definitely going to fix, but there are also a few minor hiccups.

That brings up the question: Is anyone even going to notice those hiccups? They're probably fixable, but they're not worse than Techno Hill 2.

I'd like to know how fast a computer everyone is on so I can sorta figure out how many people are actually using a machine this ancient. If no one is, a little bit of framerate drop like in Greenflower 2 is probably more than excusable.

I don't get any framerate drop in SRB2 at all on my new computer. I just got this today, so it's pretty new. It's fast, too. The only time my framerate drops is in netgames, when there's lag.=P

Intel Pentium 4 - 2.4 GHz
512 MB RAM
120 GB Harddrive

I can run SRB2 at 1280x960 with 32bit color depth without any problems at all.

If there's anything else I need to list, just let me know.

A P4 --> 2.4 Green Hill Zone
1024 MB Bearded Goat
80 GB Umm.. Harddrive >.>
Some.. NVidia GeForce thing.. not gonna bother to look >.>;

I can run full speed at 1280x960 in opengl MOST of the time.

I actually have a Pentium 4 and it runs perfect... But a year ago I had a Pentium 1 and I programmed in a DOOM engine based game in 640×480 at 24FPS (and complex levels)... I think that the difference with SRB2 is small...

But it doesn't display all of the specs.
Only this:
PC: GenuineIntel
Intel(r) Celeron(tm) Processor
62,0 MB Ram

And that's all. I can run SRB2 Fairly well, but in levels like CEZ1 & 2 and GFZ2 It gets a little..... Bad

My computer... *Reminences for a moment* And my Dad's computer can run through the SRB2 levels without any noticable framerate drop.

I have names for my computers

LawArias (192.168.0.1/192.168.0.7) My computer
P2 266Mhz, 128MB, TNT2 32MB
it stays in DOS mode most of the time, uses Arachne for web surfing, and use WATTCP/WATCP32 tools, SRB2DOS work PC
Windows version: HAH, skips frames like H....
DOS, runs fine, and SRB2 sounds great even with MIDI with a SB AWE32

ASLM (192.168.0.2/192.168.0.10) Alam's PC (Linux/MasterServer/Dreamcast dial-in server)
P1/MMX 233 Mhz, 64MB S3 something video 2MB
No, no, and NO!

Arias (192.168.0.3) my Mom's PC
AMD Athlon 1.5 GHz, 768MB, ATI Radeon 7200 PCI
ok... overkill specs, even with OpenGL

ASWM (192.168.0.20) Alam's Laptop
Intel Celeron 2.4 GBZ, 512 MB, ATI Radeon something
work fine, if it doesn't overheat and shutdown.....

there are 4 other PCs, up to 192.168.0.10, and 192.168.0.20+ for wireless but I don't remeber the specs (i'll update this as i pull them out of my pile labeled "Computers not to use due to the summer heat")

How ironic. Thats the exact same specs I have! Ya 9/10 times im in OpenGL cause it looks better :P

i can run basiccly any srb2 level fine (please excuse spelling)

I'm the person you're likely worried about.

Pentium 2 - Not sure on the exact speed. I'm at school right now, and I can't check my computer at the moment. I think it's 288 MHz.

192 MB RAM
70 GB Hard Drive with 59 GB free.
Can't run Open GL for crap.

My PCs < Graphing Calculators.

p333m Celeron
128mb ram
38g hard drive
ATI RagePro 3d (4mb)

pII 400m
256mb ram - That's funny, I thought I had 128, but I was wrong.
18g HD- some used on Linux junk, total free-ness ~ 1g
No 3d card.

Pentium 4 2.60 GHz
504 MB RAM (technically 512 but my integrated graphics thing steals 8)
ATi Radeon 9250 Pro (it runs Half-Life 2, so that's all I care about)

I HOPE to upgrade to:

AMD Athlon 3200+/3500+
1GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce 6600 GT

...but that's a bit far away yet.

Keep in mind Mystic that MR will probably run a little more smoothly on the final 1.09 build as I optimize stuff.

Specs

I use SRB2 on the following machines:

800 MHz Duron,
320 MB RAM,
32 MB Radeon 7000;

and

450 MHz PII,
96 MB RAM,
4 MB S3 Virge/DX (PCI!).

The latter struggles on most levels, unless I run it at 320×200 in software. Even then, it has problems with THZ2 and the like. OpenGL is a complete no-no.

I do have a third machine, although I've yet to try SRB2 on it:

40 MHz 486DX,
8 MB RAM,
1 MB onboard Cirrus Logic chip.

Woah, don't even try it on your third. It'd BSOD ya.

Hrm, lesse...

Dell DIMENSION DIM3000
Intel Pentium 4 - 2.80 GHz, 2.79GHz
256 MB RAM
Intel 82865G Graphics Controller (I think this is the ingraded graphics chip thingy, dunno)

I can run OpenGL fine on any level without lag, though I never really tried messing with the resolutions and such.

Dell DIMENSION DIM2400
Intel Celeron(R) CPU 2.20GHZ
512 MB of RAM
108GB HD
And the Same Graphics Card as Ritz.

OpenGL is no problem, neither is 1080x768.
