What would be the value for a brown? I need desprate help.

This color? #4B1900.
This color? #963200.
This color? #C86400.
This color? #FF9600.

I'd give you the whole rainbow if you asked VERY nicely, and I'ver got time.

These colors brought to you by Jasc Paint Shop Pro!

Um... I think he means an SRB2 pallete entry for brown.
Looking...
Palette.gif

I'll use that picture from the char tutorial page on my site...
Forgive the arrow and the green pallete above, and those aren't the actual values, but it does exist.

In that topic, where can I find the complete palette?

I think he meant the standard water kind, actually.

Yeah. How the hell can Hotdog think of palates when the topic's called colormap help? Playah wins the topic. Thanks, Playah!

I think DOOM has a lump called "COLORMAP" that carried over to SRB2, hence why he thought that.

Oh boy, it doesn't work. it looks super weird in water. Help!

Ooh, that IS freaky. I might use that someday... o.o

Anyway, you didn't do anything wrong, it's supposed to look like that. What you can do, however, is mess with the bitset (Is that what it's called in this situation...?) and try to produce a lighter shade of brown.

No, I think it's more just "the color".

Anywho, what's it look like in OpenGL? I can almost guarantee it'd look a BIT better, if not much.

The last number on the above texture needs to be something smaller.

If that isn't the problem, then you put the #RRGGBB0 somewhere that isn't the above texture.
