checkpoints in a button hunt?

Two questions in response:

What do you mean, checkpoints? Star Posts? Not reloading the level on death?

Why on earth are you making a button hunt level to begin with? Button hunts are god-awful and shouldn't be done. CEZ2 1.X is not a good stage.
 
I have to agree with Mystic. CEZ2 version 1.0 is fail because of the whole button-hunt crap :|

Also I don't think star posts would work for buttons...
 
They would only work if the button hunt was only a gimmick of a stage, not the stage itself. If this is the case, then I suggest if you are going to have obstacles and death pits, put a check point before the button hunt, and behind the door that opens when all the buttons are pressed. If there won't be any obstacles that kill you, then just put them after the button hunt door.
 
I think he means a way to make starposts that don't reset the buttons when you die. IIRC, there's a map header option or something that makes linedef executors stay triggered after death.
