Chasecam 01 to default in match?

Is it possible to make chasecam 01 the default view for a match level?

I don't think so, but you can have something like this in your autoexec.cfg.

bind 2 "toggle chasecam"

That will turn it on or off depending on what the chasecam value is set.

No, but, see, I want to try making a 2D match level, and I want the camera to default at Chasecam 01 for that level and that level only. How would I do that?

You can't have a FPS 2D level, the camera automatically zooms out in 2D match levels.

If you don't mind trying out another exe, SRB2CB has support for that,
add "chasecam = 1" to the map header info in a match/tag/ctf level.
