I must thank you intensely once again for the tools, but just a nitpick: SWISCHEES is not a valid patch name since lumps can have ONLY eight characters (or less), while the aforementioned one has nine. If you attemped to add that to PNAMES, Lord knows what would happen... well, okay, so do I: an error.
Other than this, this is pretty much like XWE's editing thing, only in a text editor and not a graphic editor. Fair enough.
Another thing you forgot to mention: increment the number in the first line by however many textures are added, or else TEXTURE1 will compile WITHOUT adding the stuff you added to the end, or if you decided arbitrarily to add it in the middle, will cut off official textures which will cause crashes gua-ran-teed.
Other than that, you did a fine job with the readme.

DOOM sky doesn't tile, it freakin' works. :D
Interestingly, the recompiled TEXTURE1 lump loads in XWE perfectly... or would if SRB2.WAD was my "IWAD", not DOOM2.WAD. Weird. oo;
