Character Wad Help

Okay, so right now, I'm creating a unique character wad, and am trying to get it to do a specific action. Although, being as inexperienced as I am, I'm having NO luck. I'm trying to get it so his nojumpspin stays in effect, and make it so the thok sprite changes to the custom spin sprite(s) I am currently working on. Anyone know how I can do that? 'Cause right now, when I thok, it keeps the falling sprites rather than the custom sprites. Please help! >w<;;
 
If you can somehow soc a thing as you're thok item with the thok sprite and make it force your character into a spin then it could be possible. But other then that, it's pretty much impossible.

Yeah. That's another problem. I'm not good at making in-wad SOCs. Frankly, I had to ask SMS for help with my custom ringslinger sprites. Frankly, I only know how to edit sprites, and such. (It's a WIP which will take some time- completely, just about, revamped sprites, etcetera.) But I have to go for now, and probably won't be back. If anyone cares to take a gander at it and post fixations, here's the link (Remember, not much is changed yet):

I got it to download but it is not playable, it's made by Margin headers, pm me a set of sprites and S_SKIN and I'll try it out and see if there's any problems.

Also I've started up a soc but I can't get it to angle up and force the character into spin.
 
Bah, and I was just going to test whether what your trying to do worked, oh well.

There only one way you could do this:

You have to put a linedef executor in every level where this will be used, and the Thokitem frame will use <u>A_LinedefExecute</u> that will activate a Linedef with <u>Linedef Type 125</u>. And the Linedef will put the player into his spin frames.

Although, I do think that this will Limit where you an use this character, so I wouldn't use it. But if you do happen to use that method, that is how you'd do it.

Other than that, I don't think there's any other way, unless Draykon comes by and proves me wrong.

I can get you said items in around a couple of hours- where I'm at, I don't have SRB2 or anything along those lines. But I'm going home soon and can give you them then, okay?

Hm. Then maybe I should just edit his falling sprites.
Cause I could use nojumpspin and thok, and the falling sprite will be the right sprite. -Shrugs- Also, I made his stand sprite- it's, of course, built off of the Sonic sprite, but it's a base for the final. Here it is:
