CD Sonic Emerald Ability activates randomly

This happens even if I don’t press the input button. I am playing on controller, running Windows 11, and the mod is the latest update. I already tried running the mod by itself, and reinstalling the mod, and the problem is still happening. Also, this problem doesn't happen with any of my other mods.

You need to put this in the thread for the mod. This bug reports forum is for vanilla SRB2.
