Basically to me I think about it as "Sonic with a gun/buster" or mega-sonic as I think of it.

This game provides both high speed and a buster which makes me think of what would it be if Sonic and Megaman merged together, just watch the trailer, the game looks good imo.
Just played it and I have to agree with my opinion, it did felt like Sonic/Megaman mixup, the stages aren't too large however, so there isn't much to run on but surely the landscape is good and you can run-up walls after you upgraded the character's dash in the shop. (it provides you upgrades to your collected weapons and abilities)
It's worth playing imo.
