Can't start a net game. Please help me!

i cant get a net game on the master server for some reason. i put addvertise on internet and everything but when i call my friend and let him know i started one so we can play( i have max players at at least 8 players at all times)but he cant see it on the server. Why cant he or anybody else see it? (I know no one else can see it because i was playing ctf by myself for an hour!)

Are you using a router or firewall or some such? The MS needs a certain port to be opened to advertise your game-a port number that I've forgotten-, while you need port 5029 open to let people actually join.

There's always Join by IP, anyway.
