Can't find my friends game but other people can join it

I'm having a strange issue where I am unable to see my friend's server on the Master Server. He forwarded all of his ports and other people are able to see and join his server, so we're wondering if the issue is on my end. I'm able to see and join other servers on the Master Server, but I'm unable to join his either directly or through the list. Has anyone else encountered this issue? We're on the same room and we can see the same servers, but when he sets his server up I can't see it.

try typing connect (server ip) or connect any (connect any connects to the first lan server it can find), it may think the server is a lan servers, and i dont think lan servers pop up on the server list.

yea I guess that sums it, have him google "what's my ip" and then put that in the thing
