Can't carry Sonic!

I play with Sonic and Tails and when I need Tails to carry Sonic, it does not work! Probably because for some odd reason, Tails now touches Sonic instead of going through him. So, do I need to go to the options or something? Please help!

You probably messed with the TailsPickUp console variable. Try setting it to 1.
