Can't Add Wad Files?

So this is my first time adding wads so I went and followed the FAQ and got me this error:

Error: can't find file

Here's what I did:

addfile src_FunkyFv1.wad

I stored the wad in the same directory as SRB2.

Yes, and it is the "SRC" instead of the "SCR" like normal. Remember baba_944, "src" means "source", and "scr" means "Singleplayer, Co-op, and Race."

I made a typo in the orignal post, but you're right I did made a typo. I did a dot and not an underscore. I'll update if it works.

To be fair it doesn't REALLY matter which way you order those letters, since they're just a convenient way for people to remember what kind of levels a WAD file contains. They are meaningless to the game itself.

But if someone decides to make a wad that has an ambiguous order (Like RCS or CSR) Then it gets hard to find, because it's a whole different alphabetical order.
