Cannot access internet in SRB2!

If I go online and go to any room, OLDC, Standard, or Casual, the game crashes with a message stating "Tried to transmit another node." Please help...I've tried everything from restarting the computer, to closing Skype, and even disabling Firewall, but nothing works. Please, help...
UPDATE: Fixed it by restarting my PC again.
