Can some one help me create a NPC

Ok,I know this sounds noobish but, I need help. For my new levels I need to create NPCs like the ones in srb2JTE. I looked on the wiki and tried everything with the JTE wad I could but nothing works. Could someone please help me and tell or show me how to make a NPC. Help would really be nice.

Try soccing an item that's pretty much a gargoyle. After that, use linedef executors and scripts to make him talk and/or do stuff.

Unless you mean bots, buuutt...

There's also a tutorial on the wiki that tells you how to make custom enemies. If you use parts of that, but with different or no state commands, you can make almost anything. If you don't want the NPC to move, don't give it speed or motion states.

Thanks All you guys. I finally created the NPCs. THanks Sky Ninja for the links. I'll try to use them in other levels.
