Well what happens is as soon as I add the file it crashes.

I think it probably has something to do with your MAINCFG lump. Try changing some stuff about it, or just redo it entirely. You will have to do that anyway...I noticed that when you copypasted my Tortured Planet code, you didn't even bother to delete the comment lines.

SRB2 Workbench is a W.I.P. SRB2-exclusive map editor. Not released to the public yet, I think.

Not only not released yet, but probably never will. And since it doesn't really offer anything over SRB2DB (it even lacks 3D Mode), there's no reason to use it.
