Bridging connections?

Anyone know how to retain an internet connection while having a bridge connection? This is how I have it set up. Xbox is connected to my wireless laptop via crossover cable. I bridge the two connections and I lose my internet connection. If only I am able to maintain that connection, my new year goal will succeed.

You need to install some routing/connection sharing software. Treat your wireless network as the 'internet connection' and the crossover cable as your "LAN".
