Exactly what number do you put in the parameter for the error:

Failed on allocation of XXXX bytes
Try increasing memory size using the -mb parameter (currently using XX MB)

thats nice and all, but exactly WHAT NUMBER would i imput?

for example, if it failed on 84 bytes, what would the -mb amount be?

Yeah, i've had the coldmetal caves wad for a while now...And i've never playerd it, it always crashes out on me with the failed on allocation of 84 bytes error, does anyone have a version of it that will actually work?

actually, it does. theres a horrible thok-barrier problem I see at the begining... I think I'll try to fix it.

And thats the only thing i think can help. I tried shrinking it by various sizes, deleting unneded lines, ect. and it still givesw the same error...

But, meh. I'm sure i dont NEED to play it :?

Run it through Deepsea's Closed Sector and Unused Linedef checkers.
