audio/sprite swapup on kart mod

so me and my friend are making a kart mod of that bootleg metal plush and his oc, but his minimap, icon, voice clips and select icon sprites keep overruling mine, any way to fix this?

Do you have them properly separated within the addon file?

im not sure what you mean by that, but they're seperate mods

i was looking around for addons when someone said this as a reply
"Yeah, If your character has the same sprite names as someone else's character with the same four letters or numbers done in SLADE, That means they switch voice clips and / or quite possibly the sprites. One has to have the sprite name changed in order to not make this happen again. It happened to me too with My Marsa character and Brash Busters' Marisa character. Don't believe me?"
pretty safe bet that i can now fix this with my friend, thanks!
