I have an idea: Fang jumps out of a box, after this the trash stuns the player, Fang laughs and throws a bomb that flings player out of the train, the character jumps and runs after the train, sees a narrow canyon and jumps into it.
New mechanic: springs on rails that catapults player from minecart, but stops horizontal speed.
