are 2.0 mods compatble with 2.1?

i made this just to make sure if 2.0 modes work with 2.1 mods i wonder if it just crashes the game or it will just show the mod glitched

It's not a flat, consistent thing. It depends on the kind of mod, and/or how extensive/complex it is. Some mods might more or less work with a few hiccups here and there, while others won't work at all and will crash the game, and anywhere inbetween.

As a general rule of thumb, you should try to keep to loading mods intended for the SRB2 version you are playing. You could always try porting mods between versions to improve compatibility, but you should get permission from the original author first.

oh ok so what if add the rosy wad that was from version 2.0 will that crash because i cant find a 2.1 mod for rosy the rascel
