While some modern musics does have a taste of traditional like Japanese,
How would you like or feel if arabic scales implemented to modern or western or video game musics?
I mean, not literally that Egypt, arabian dessert style as we thought only, but scales like Rast, Sikah, Bayati, et cetera. Ajam or Jiharkah scale is closely to how the major scale we normally hear. Arabic scales mostly have a feature of quarter tones. As a cultural Malay, I personally like Rast and Bayati more than that Ancient Egyptian style music thingy.
Anyways, yeah, I sometimes wonder if Megadrive music with these scales.
I'm not expect to try bring sensitive topic though, just music.
