Anyone found it weird that sonic cd didn't get a stage for sonic generations?

It would have been cool to see stardust speedway are quartz quadrant in 3d

I think it's because at the time, it was considered to be a 'hidden gem' and not so important to the Sonic universe (cause' it was the meta Era.)

At least it wasn't Wacky Workbench in 3D. :D It would have been cool to see one stage in Generations but it was not a mainline game. 3D Blast didn't get a level either.

Yea but atleast stardust speedway made a appearance in metal sonic rival boss battle

3 stages per generation - classic era had no room. It was obviously going to be Green Hill Chemical Plant, and some S3&K pick.
