Another Stupid Iwad Error

Once Again, I have opened up Doom Builder in hopes of eventually having some vague idea of how to build a level. And once again, the errors the program gives me thwart me before I can even start.

Here's the ever persistent and probably easy to fix error.

WARNING: Could not find the IWAD file "srb2.srb". Check your configuration!
WARNING: Could not find required lump PLAYPAL

What do I do?

EDIT: I have a new Question! Look in post 3 at the bottom!

You're going to have find the IWAD for it, as it won't find the IWAD itself.
Go to the "tools" section and click configuration, a window pops up.
Click the "files" tab and you should see the "game IWAD" option, click the browse button beside this.
When looking for the file click the "file type" drop down box that appears and choose the option "All files", now select srb2.srb
Now you have all the stuff you need.
If your next question is "why don't things appear in my map?" then you haven't got the right doom builder configuration which you can get here
But if even that dosent work I have a question to ask YOU!
Which version of srb2 do you have? If you have version 2.0.4 then you're in luck

Ok that seems to have worked.

And Yes, I have version 2.0.4

And I do have another question, though not one you expected.
Why has it stopped recognizing my textures?
When I type, for example, GFZFLR01 into a texture box, or any other official texture for that matter, it continues to say "unknown texture"

I cant test anything I build because its just a blur of untextured surfaces, so I need to figure out what's up.

Ah. Well I never type my textures, mainly because of the same problem you have so I use 3D mode for linedefs I missed out.
If you're planning on using 3D mode itself here are the controls

Click wall = lets you select a texture
E = move forward
D = move backward
F = move right
S = move left
W = Exit 3D mode

Those are the basic controls to 3D mode

With 3D mode I simply click a wall and select a texture and if not all texures appear, I press the Tab key.

These are only solutions to get textures to appear, I have no knowledge so far about keeping your character in the level while testing

It's just one thing after another.

I can't use 3D mode because apparently I don't have the latest version of Direct X.

Now I gotta go see if I can get that elsewhere.
