I think I found a song that sounded like Act 2 of Rocky Mountain Zone. Do you think you might be able to put it as a MusicSlot in a future version of SRB2?

Indeed that is RMZ2, from one of the old demos (4.35, I believe).
Well, last time I checked, the devs didn't want to add any more songs than necessary because they still had people on potato internet connections and didn't want to make downloading the game any harder for them. Or something along those lines, I'm not sure I'm remembering this quite right.

An ogg version of that appears in 1.01 through 1.08, yes.
...tbh I don't think that version of Rocky Mountain Zone Act 2 does the original theme much justice, just as well it was taken out later on.
