Accelerative and Displacement Texture Scrolling: What are these?

Hey, thanks for sharing this info. It seems very useful for my (and Knockout's) Conveyor Conflict remake...
 
I might put some detailed information on the wiki if I have the time. I already started with the accelerative scrollers, but there's still a lot to do. These linedef type pages all seem so unorganized...
 
So...what do Displacement Scrollers do?
They work with distance instead of speed. The ceiling height of the control sector determines how many fracunits the conveyor moves. If you put a ceiling height of 20, the conveyor will move 20 fracunits at once and then stop. EDIT: This of course depends on what Linedef Type you use. 401 will make it move at once, 404 will make it move continuously until it reaches the given ceiling height, and 408 will make a conveyor belt that only moves as long as you press the button.

I still have to look at how the floor height affects the movement, because it doesn't seem to work properly.
