a visual bug but god does it look bad

i believe this happened when me and a friend were playing and I was playing as a character that could clip through the level geometry and I went below the death plane and now stuff like this happens, its all visual but i still hate it

Seems to be a bug with the character being able to clip outside the level itself.
The game isn't designed to handle that.

Edit: It seems like you actually just have skyboxes turned off. Use skybox on in the console and it should fix itself.
