A couple of questions for DRRR modding

I know kartmaker isn’t the best tool for making characters, but I still like using it. I’m not the best at modding

1st. When making a character in kartmaker, how do I make sure the character’s “explosion” sprite doesn’t flip?

I’m working on some custom characters and their “explosion” sprites aren’t supposed to flip. Do I have to change something in the properties file to make sure it doesn’t happen? I mean the base game characters don’t do it, as far as I know.

2nd. Is there a tutorial for making custom followers?

Obviously I know there isn’t a kartmaker version for followers. So is there a tutorial online for custom followers?

3rd. Is there a way to make sure characters don’t have voice lines with kartmaker?

With some of my characters, they aren’t supposed to have voice lines. I tried getting rid of all of them from their folders, but it shows an error as I play with them.

If anyone can help out, that would be great!

1. You should be able to go into the sprite list of a character using SLADE and deleting the flipped sprites (which lasts up to 4 frames by default) Do note that animation like this (and other animations in SRB2) go from A0 to B0, C0, D0, etc.

2. There's a tool already made to help with creating followers for the game. Alternatively, there should be tutorials provided on the Kart Krew Discord server.

3. If you wanna take out voicelines without causing mid-game errors, leave those soundfiles for your character mute. It's recommended to keep sound for the gloat voice clip, though.

Thanks for answering my questions, I am curious though. for the animation frames do I have to rename them? Also why should I keep the gloat voice clip, does an error occur?
