I really would if I could, but I'm not all that good at techie stuff. I suggest you try some sites that display Doom tutorials, Google, Wikipedia... The list goes on and on. If it's ever been attempted, theorized, or phailed at I guarantee the Intarwebz will hold it's secrets. (Obv.)

Open srb2.srb in XWE go to the palette lump, PLAYPAL, when you select a color it shows the colors index.
Example:
$80 is the hex number 0x80, when modifying the colors all the hex number are referring to the palette colors.
Another way to find out what color it is, is to convert the hex number to a Decimal and look at the Palette on the SRB2wiki.
