Not sure about the name yet. It is a mix of my Sonic Gold mod and my cape cod mod. I introduce to you the worlds biggest mod (someday) Sonic Golden Vacation Bombs!

Storyline: Sonic is roaming a beautiful island. Then a big bomb goes off in the distance. A flying plane crashes near Sonic's sunspot where he was resting this moment. Then he rushes to the Tornado and sees Tails. Tails warns Sonic that Dr. Robotnik is back in his factory. He plans to somehow blow up the world. But how is unknown! Sonic has to tear across the zones to reach him! But once you find Eggy... who knows what will happen...

















Features:
  • Over 100 levels to run, battle and capture stuff in.
  • Missions! Help the townspeople! There are people from the mb!
  • 6 Special Stages to collect 6 emeralds! 1 is hidden somewhere!
  • Outdated levels that were made! Scraped levels too!
  • Time Attack and submit you fastest times!
  • -- characters to play as.
  • With all these characters to play as you will have many paths! Some are character exclusive!
  • There are exlusive levels and zones for each character!

Buzzards Bay Zone: A sunny beach. There are only crawla bots here! There are many caves. This is a easy Zone.

Slime Headquaters: A once beautiful landscape, till it was blown up into the factory. Eggman has robots being made everywhere. Watch out for the slime pumper badnik. He pumps slime. There may be acid to. Watch out Robotnik knows your here!

Bolt Gardens: A flying garden. Eggman is fleeing here but why? A lot of luck is needed for Sonic but anyone who can climb or fly may find it easy. At the end you will be fighting a spinning boss that is not Eggman...

Rainy Jungle: One may say this place is a scenic route. It is haunted here and there are many flooded areas. If you stay on the path you are safe.

Are you really planning to -- with your limited level design skills -- build over one hundred levels?
Not only would that take up an enormous amount of time, your level design skills aren't even at the point where you've made a single quality level -- trying to make a huge level pack just amplifies that.

Start small, because I entirely doubt this'll ever be finished.

You can't assure any of it is going to be worth our time. You obviously don't have very good design skills and attempting to make a big pack means you'll either fail or produce something awful.
 
At least I try. I am doing this to learn the good skills as well. I think I'm getting better. That is why I'm including outdated maps. That and as a prize.

I've got 2 acts to make to finish Zone 2. Act 2 is 50% done. Act 3 100% Done.

Really, please just try to built one level after another, and spend at least some days on each. You are definitely improving, but this rushing is insane.
 
I though there was some kind of typo in the title...

Really? One hundred levels? How much time have you spent on making each level?

Seriously, ONE HUNDRED LEVELS? That's not good, that's stupid. We all know this mod'll either never finish, or finish with a bunch of shit/filler levels. IF it finishes, which I highly doubt. Missions? Like what, beating up D00D64 so you can regain Nev3r's stolen loli stash? And oh great, I get to play your old stuff as well as the new stuff, because we all know that playing subpar versions of pre-existing levels is always an excellent award and not just filler for 100 maps at all. And man, -- characters is an awful lot of characters.

Wow, as well as the characters I can already play as, I can play as the letter L, a character that Dr. P made and was already ported to 2.0 ages ago, the guy that reminds me of how shitty Sonic 06 was, the most useless character ever, ANOTHER Dr.P character, and TWELVE QUESTION MARKS AT ONCE? Wow, some roster ya got there.

Oh grat, with such an EXCELENT dev team, this can't possibly suck!

Alright, I'm gonna level with ya; this is just WAY too much for you to handle. Even with that team you have there, all of you combined can't do this. And your team will most likely not do much anyways, like 90% of teams that work on a project for SRB2.

Look, just keep going small. Just work on ONE LEVEL with all you got for the OLDC, and keep doing it every two months until you finally know what makes a good level. When you think you can finally make something good, THEN try making a mod. But not something stupid like 100 levels; that's just begging for low quality and/or short maps. It's way out of your league, and is a waste of time. SRB2 wasn't made in a day you know.
 
You're not getting the point, WEREHOG.

As the saying goes: Quality > Quantity

No matter how big this mod is, or how many maps it has, the quality is still going to greatly affect this mod's popularity.

That, and it's a stupid idea to make 100 maps just because you decided to make that many maps, or to make your mod "big".

Rushing to finish the mod by making several maps in a day is just as silly; it takes months to make a single good map, not days to make several of them. :/
 
Is it ok to make the maps first, then go back and touch them up? Also how much of a level do you make a day? Took about a year to get where I am now and what I have here took a year. I'll send the level once I finish this level about hour ish.
