404 Error: Space Vacuum not found

I was recently playing as Miles Prower in Egg Rock, and it seems that he does not get sucked into space even if there is an opening. Strange, isn't it?
And no, this is not a bug report, just something strange I found.

It's because he's hanging on one of those bars. They're how you're supposed to avoid getting sucked out in that section.
