1.09 won't work on my new computer...

This is something that puzzles me. On my new computer, whenever I try to open SRB2 1.09, it immediately gives a sigsev. No matter what I do. I don't understand why this is happening because every version before 1.09 works just fine. I'm not sure how I can get around this problem. Any ideas?

Do not suggest the following:

- A bad .exe or srb2.srb. Come on, I've replaced them countless times!
- Upgrading to SRB2 1.09.1. All it does is replace what is mentioned above.
- Redownloading. I've already downloaded the .rar file twice. It is quite obviously not a bad download.
- Replacing any file what-so-ever. I've already taken my flash drive and brought the entire SRB2 folder off my old computer onto the new computer. Nothing new happened.
- Using OpenGL. This one is obvious enough. I use it all the time anyways.
- Using another computer. I'm trying to get it to run on this computer for a reason. Dur.
- Using the old versions. Why would I or anyone else want to do that?

Actually, I think I have an idea... I know of a sort of conflict between FMod and SoundBlaster cards, and SRB2 1.09 uses a different version of FMod than 1.08. I'll see if I can upgrade my drivers... Oh no! I'm being contradicting! *Edits first post*

Edit: Nope, the new drivers didn't fix the problem.

Nevermind. I had a talk in IRC with SSNTails and Logan and they have compiled a working .exe for me with the ASM code removed. This will include all future releases of SRB2. The topic may be closed, or held open for further discussion.

My monitor on my new computer's being bitchy about SRB2 as well. OpenGL mode works fine, but for some reason it won't accept a software rendering of lower resolution then 800 x 600 or higher then 1024 x 800, saying the resolution is "unsupported" and shutting off (leaving me to find my way to close SRB2 without being able to see or hear) or causing SRB2 to segment vio... Of course, it's easily enough delt with... I just have to stay in the sucky improperly scaled resolutions... No biggy...
