record attack

I am making this thread because I have no idea how to add the record attack control display UI that is on the bottom left. it tracks when you press jump, or shift, what you press to move, if I'm strafing/autobraking, and how fast my character is going. please tell me how.

so I want to know if its possible and if so, how to make different (and possibly multiple) speedrun ghosts do a run of a level at the same time, ex. a Sonic, Tails, and Knuckles ghost each going through their fastest time in Green Flower Zone act 1 at the same time
