Tails got buffed in 2.2, is he just too powerful now?

Newcomer-friendly isn't synonymous with difficult. The 2.2 levels do a much stronger job introducing players to game mechanics than their predecessors do.

I'd rather do 2.2 Castle Eggman and Deep Sea over their 2.1 counterpart.

SA1 Tails is too over powered, I mean it's barely a challenge in this game.
