Water Colormap Problem

I recently discovered this annoying aesthetics problem. When water is below an FOF or betweem the FOF's floor and ceiling, the colormap stays in place. But if you use a linedef to raise the water and the water goes above the FOF, the colormap suddenly disappears!

If there isn't a fix for 1.09.4/a, is this fixed in 2.0?

That why I was forced to remove colormap from Water Plant Zone and Jazz did the same in Jazz Attack.

This was a problem in one of my levels. If you want, there is a workaround with light blocks (linedef 49) you could use. They must fill the space between the water and the underside of the FOF, and they have to move out of the way when the water rises. Make the light blocks the same brightness as the underside of the FOF, and you should be set.
 
Alternatively, I'm pretty sure that if you tell SRB2 you want the lighting above the FOF, it just spazzes and doesn't make a shadow whatever at all.
