I have the PSP 3000, it is probally the best PSP available since it has high ram and better colors than the other PSP's plus it has a UMD drive and bigger screen than the PSP Go so.... Get the PSP 3000.

CZ64, you shouldn't sell your PSP 1000 for a 3000. Just wait for the next PSP to come out. THEN sell your 1000.

If I were you, I'd keep the 1000 and get a 3000 series used. But that's me and that's as far as I'd "upgrade".
(has PSP 1000 series Used)

Sorry for the bump.
Okay, I have the PSP 3000 but I have a problem, everytime I try to connect to the Internet I keep getting a Time-Out! And I do have a connection to connect to, but the above keeps happening. It's really annoying, can someone help? (On an unrelated note, thanks to Mystic for convincing me not to buy the Go Edition. That would've been a waste!)

http://playstation.custhelp.com/cgi-...p_sid=Wldpe3ni Search for "472". The Knowledge Center is a great spot to find troubleshooting.Oh and tl;dr, powercycle modem and router, make sure not WPA2 security, make sure outputting wireless B signal, turn off power save for wlan, make sure signal strength is high enough, etc.

Could the problem be on the Memory Sticks hand? The Memory Stick I use now is from my 1000 model.
